Mumbai is a bustling commercial and glamorous capital of India that obviously attracts the people from far and wide. One can explore the very popular place well know as the gateway of India which is also considered to be the principal landmark of Mumbai.

It was constructed to commemorate the royal visit of George V and Queen Mary in 1911 and completed in 1924. The society of Mumbai has the multi-lingual and multi-cultural colours with their rich heritage, glorious culture and one side of its glamorous film city – a dream paradise for all the Indians.

The Portuguese came here in the 17th century and dotted the island with several forts, which exists today. It was given in the dowry to Charles II of England at the time of marriage with the Catherine by the Portuguese.

Now Mumbai plays a major role in the economy of India with the 40% of its trade share and also called the land of magic because of its Bollywood situated here.

By Road: Perfectly connected to all the cities of Maharashtra by bus and also with major cities of India. Intra city bus services are also very good.

Places to visit
Marine Drive
Marine Drive is moved along the shoreline of the Arabian Sea from Nariman Point to the foot of Malabar Hill built in 1920. It is famous for its incredible sunset point and gradually a head popular idealistic spot and sometimes called the Queen's Necklace. A traveler can explore the beauty of the nature and can feel the freshness to make him energetic. Mostly visitors and many south Mumbai people come here to breathe in pure and fresh natural air.

Juhu Beach
Juhu beach is vary popular for its crowd and excursion beauty, situated 30 km far apart from the city with residential apartments and bungalows surrounding it. The entire population of the adjacent area slides down on the beach for a breath of fresh air.

Prince Charles Museum
Prince Charles Museum is very famous for its Art, Archeology and Natural History which are built in the Indo-Saracenic style of structural design to honour King George V's visit to India, which consists of 3 main sections. It has a marvelous and glorious collection of Chinese Jade pieces, miniature paintings and oil paintings.

Gateway of India
The Gateway of India, well known and a very famous historical monument, has a very glorious history uncounted with it to be explored. It has arch that is of 26 m, Mumbai's most famous landmark, built in 1927 A.D. to memorialize the visit of King George V and Queen Mary for the Delhi Durbar in 1911 A.D.

Film City
Film City, well known for its own pride, position and world famous with the name as Bollywood, is a very famous tourist attraction. Mumba Devi Temple, the patron of Mumbai city, is devoted to Goddess Mumba-Devi,. The city derives its name from this sixth century old temple.

Hanging Garden
Hanging Garden which is balanced at the top of Malabar Hill, give a beautiful sunset views over the Arabian Sea. The park was laid out in the early 1880s over Bombay's main reservoir.
