Goa, a tourist paradise and the pearl of the orient and the king of the beaches, is situated on the western coastline of India and is dividable into two district, North Goa – the capital of city Panji and South Goa with the famous places like as Vasco-Da-Gama and Margao.
It was enlightened by the Indian Army from Portuguese colonisation on December 19, 1961 and became a Union Territory along with the enclaves of Daman and Diu on May 30, 1987. Goa became the 25th state of the Indian Republic. It is a witch casting a spell on all who step onto its silver sands and golden beaches.
One can explore and attracted by its lush hills and cool blue waters, cathedrals and coconut groves, spice plantations and paddy fields, sun, sand and sea.
The huge stretch of the Arabian Sea on the west shapes the amazing shoreline for which Goa is renowned. Goa is one of India’s major tourist attractions, attracting over a million visitors every year and it was fought over for centuries by kings of amazing colours.
